This working group will outline strategies and best practices to link training and workforce development providers to employers in the sectors we choose to focus on (e.g. Brownfield Remediation, Building Retrofits, etc.)
Some Questions to Consider:
• When will green collar industries be ready to absorb a significant number of new trained employees?
• How do employer needs get measured and fulfilled in developing green collar jobs? (Anticipating growth and development of new or altered jobs?)
• What types of incentives would encourage the private sector to cooperate with communities?
